Prague 7 has approved renovation of the Hanau Pavilion and landscaping between the streets Veletržní, Strojnická and U Studánky. Town Hall is also planning a new nursery school on the corner of Rajská and Plynární and renewing the tram track in Stromovka along its historical path. www.praha7.cz

Registration for nursery schools for the 2021/2022 school year will take place 4 and 5 May from 1:30pm to 5pm. Electronic pre-registration will run from 12 to 25 April. From 12 to 28 April, spring cleaning will descend on Prague 7 in the form of street sweeping. You can find the exact schedule on the Town Hall website. Please free up parking spots on the given dates so the street sweepers can pass through. A regular census conducted by the Czech Statistical Office will take place from 27 March to 11 May 2021. Up until 9 April you can fill out the form simply and safely on the web or in the mobile app Sčítání21. The electronic census form is in English, German, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian and Vietnamese. Questions concerning the household are to be answered based on your actual domicile, not according to your place of permanent residence. City Hall will be opening a high-capacity vaccination site at the Prague Congress Centre (Prague 4, near Vyšehrad) in April. Development

The U Vody playground is currently closed, as it is being remodelled. It will re-open in mid-May with new playground equipment.

The unstable locust tree at the Dělnická stop had to be taken down. A new tree will be planted in its place.

23 artists from around the country submitted to the Mural Art Vltavská competition with designs for the wall by the metro station.

The Municipal Court in Prague has upheld the ban on beer bikes.

Prague City Council has approved the purchase of a lot in Troja where a Prague Water Sports Park will be established.
