One of the oldest and largest skateboard competitions in Europe, Mystic Sk8 Cup, will take place on Štvanice Island again. From 30 June to 2 July, 150 leading skateboarders from around the world will be here, plus an attractive accompanying programme and bands and DJs in the evening.

Culture
Orchestr Berg in cooperation with the International Shakuhachi Festival Prague has prepared an evening inspired by Japanese phenomena. At the concert 5 June at 8pm at Studio Hrdinů, the audience will hear the world premiere of the music of composer Jonáš Starý for the Japanese silent film A Page of Madness from 1926 and a selection of the work of Japanese composers Noriko Baba and Toshio Hosokawa.

Trafo Gallery is presenting an exhibition of Czech photographer Ivan Pinkava entitled Full Moon in the Eye, which maps out the author’s work dealing with the human body. The show runs until 25 June.
