The Čechův most tram stop will be changing to a “Vienna-style” stop, meaning with the road raised to sidewalk level for barrier-free boarding. A new crosswalk will also be added and the Letná retaining wall modified, though it will look the same.
As of 1 January 2023, the Collection Yard on Voctářova has been closed due to construction. You can make use of other collection yards. The service is free for citizens with permanent residence in the City of Prague after presenting your ID card. The farmer’s market on Řezáčovo náměstí runs in the winter as well. Every Saturday, unless the temperature is below zero, you will find fresh farm vegetables, organic meat, quality baked goods, dairy products and sometimes even designer products or handicrafts. On 18 February there will be a pig slaughter feast. Heřmaňák has tables and chairs for seating and children and dogs are welcome.

From the end of April until next spring, the dome of the planetarium in Stromovka will be closed. The projection system will be being replaced and the newly installed LCD screen across the whole dome will make Prague’s planetarium one of the most modern in the world.

The Single Mothers Club will be opening a shop with children’s clothes at Pplk. Sochora 740/34 in February. Proceeds will be used for programmes supporting single parent families.

The Holešovice Ball is approaching! It will take place 25 February starting at 7pm at KZ Domovina. You can buy tickets for cash at Květinový klub on Komunardů or Erhartova cukrárna on Milady Horákové. Proceeds will go to support inhabitants of Prague 7’s shelter and Prague 7 seniors.

Swing and tap studio Zig-Zag is opening a beginner’s course in couples swing, Lindy Hop 60+, intended for all those who want to dance more slowly and for fun and appreciate a more personal approach.

Up until 19 March, DOX Centre for Contemporary Art is presenting a show entitled Funny Games by the Moldovan artist Alexander Tinei, whose figurative paintings are a personal account on the world around us and the search for God in the triviality of life.

Trafo Gallery is presenting an exhibition by Vienna-based Slovak artist Silvia Krivošíková through to 12 March. The theme of her work is fulfilment of womanhood and motherhood, with the show’s title Die Kraft referring to strength, energy and the instinct to act and survive.

Wariot Ideal is presenting a show by the only real circus of trained, clothed fleas in the world. The performance of Woman on the Moon, which has no language barrier, will take place 25 February at 8pm at Alfred ve Dvoře Theatre.

Трамвайні зупинки Čechův most будуть перетворені на так звані віденські зупинки, тобто підняті ділянки проїжджої частини для безбар’єрної посадки та виходу з трамвая. Також тут зроблять новий перехід для пішоходів та відремонтують підпірну стіну Летенських садів, її зовнішній вигляд має залишитися незмінним.
З 1 січня 2023 року у зв’язку з будівництвом буде закритий пункт збору відходів на вул. Voctářova. Ви можете скористатися послугами інших пунктів збору відходів. Ця послуга є безкоштовна для громадян з постійним місцем проживання на території Праги за умови пред’явлення посвідчення особи. Список пунктів збору відходів та іншу інформацію можна знайти на Порталі навколишнього середовища міста Праги у вкладці Odpady.

Фермерський ринок на Ржезачовій площі працює також взимку. В разі відсутності морозів ви знайдете тут щосуботи свіжі фермерські овочі, м’ясо, якісну випічку, молочні продукти, а іноді й дизайнерські або ремісничі вироби. 18 лютого тут відбудеться забій свині. Фермерський ринок є обладнаний столами і стільцями та підходить для відвідин з дітьми та собаками.
