Starting in September, free Czech courses for beginners will be taking place at the Prague 7 town hall. More information Markéta Koropecká (email: praha7.projekty@icpraha.com) or Tomáš Taich (taicht@praha7.cz).

The town hall will now inform you by SMS of the end of your parking permit. You can register for notifications at the parking permit office on the ground floor of town hall. The service is free. www.praha7.cz

On 3 September the playground on the premises of T. G. Masaryk Primary School on Ortenovo náměstí will open following renovations. The public can make use of new sports grounds for free. Sports equipment (balls, rackets, hockey sticks, etc.) can be borrowed from the attendant.

Town hall will be putting new drinking fountains in service this year: on Řezáčovo náměstí, by the Vltavská metro station, in the park in front of Tusarova Primary School and in the courtyard U Vody. You can also get refreshed by the restored pumps on Ortenovo náměstí and on Tusarova ulice.

The renovation of the water tower has been nominated for the National Heritage Institute’s competition Patrimonium pro futuro. You can vote up until 16 September on its website: https://www.npu.cz/pamatky-dekuji.
