Glory of Amateur Photography

_Glory of Amateur Photography_ exhibition pays tribute to photographers organized in Czech photo-amateur clubs. Since its birth, amateur photography has signifi cantly infl uenced the development of Czech photography, its application, meaning, and form. Amateur photographers practiced photography as a hobby, but devoted a lot of time and energy to this noble pastime. their work was often excellent for its time. Yet the vast majority of authors have been forgotten and their photographs have largely been lost. This exhibition is a reminder of a major era of Czech photography.
