The Prague 7 and Prague City Hall Family Day, with a programme for all generations, will be taking place at Výstaviště on 2 June from 1pm to 7pm.

A community garden called MetroFarm with chickens and goats is opening by the Praha-Bubny train station. More information on the Facebook page „MetroFarm” or “Volnočasové centrum Holešovice“.

As part of the International Day Against Homophobia, the Fun & Run run through Letná park will take place 18 May. The starting fee of CZK 400 supports the counselling centre. At 2pm on 26 May, a run in support of canine shelters in Prague will be starting in Stromovka from the Pražan restaurant and Tiskárna na vzduchu with a dog-oriented programme: dog dancing, rescue dogs, and dog frisbee. Proceeds from the CZK 100 fee will go to support shelters.,

Yoga for beginners is held in Letná park every Wednesday. Meet at 5:50pm by the garage exit at the Sparta stop. Bring a mat.

Studio ALTA is preparing the following for kids in May: 19 May a record release of the band Playground English; from 20 to 23 May the open movement lessons of studio Altík; and 29 May the creative afternoon Rozkvetlý Altík. Free entry.

A new outdoor boulder wall awaits climbers at Výstaviště. Open daily from 9am to 11pm. Entry CZK 150, children CZK 100. * The Prague Botanical Garden is exhibiting butterflies – open from Tuesday to Sunday, 9am till 7pm. The Pelargonium Market will offer pelargoniums and leftovers from the garden collections on 24 and 25 May.
