The traditional Holešovice Ball will take place 7 February from 7pm at KZ Domovina. Proceeds from the door will support leisure activities for Holešovice residents.
The Letná Carnival will take place 25 January. Costumed revellers are to meet at 11am in front of the Church of St Anthony on Strassmayerovo náměstí, from which they will head to the National Technical Museum, National Museum of Agriculture and the water tower and end at Scarabeus Gallery (Jana Zajíce 7). At the Letná Pig event at the National Museum of Agriculture on 25 January from 10am to 5pm you can taste pig slaughter specialties or watch a theatre performance for kids. The Letná Carnival procession will also stop here. www.nzm.cz
