\r\n<\/strong>Despite the current crisis, Prague 7 has managed to assemble a\u00a0budget for 2021 that provides for repairs and expanding the capacity of schools and nurseries, housing infrastructure and public space. You can find more information on pages 26 and 27.<\/p>\r\n

The Assembly has approved an action plan with specific projects for 2021: the next stage of renovations to T. G. Masaryk Primary School at Ortenovo n\u00e1m\u011bst\u00ed, the capacity of which will be expanded with an attic addition, finishing the complete renovation of the vacant building at Dobrovsk\u00e9ho 19, and preparing a\u00a0new U\u00a0Vody park based on the results of an ongoing urban landscaping competition.<\/p>\r\n

Prague 7 has prepared a\u00a0rescue package for companies and sole traders who are forced to completely fold their businesses due to the coronavirus. www.praha7.cz<\/a><\/p>\r\n

The municipal district is revitalising inner courtyards, which it is transforming into mini-parks for spending free time, like for example the inner courtyard between the streets U\u00a0Vody, Jankovcova and Varhul\u00edkov\u00e9.<\/p>\r\n

Prague 7 is assisting its most elderly residents interested in being vaccinated against COVID-19 to register online and has also secured a\u00a0mobile vaccination team for them. www.praha7.cz\/ockovani<\/a>\u00a0

\r\nYou can take home a\u00a0coffee and a\u00a0bite to eat from the new modular caf\u00e9 Kontejner at Ortenovo n\u00e1m\u011bst\u00ed, which has boldly launched a\u00a0trial run.<\/p>\r\n

Poet, slammer, architect and urban planner Anna Beata H\u00e1blov\u00e1 is exhibiting experimental poetry on environmental topics at the Artwall outdoor gallery. www.artwallgallery.cz<\/a><\/p>\r\n

The Municipal Library in Prague is closed until further notice. All services are only taking place online, with pick-up of reserved books and returns taking place through window service. Prague City Hall has set up a\u00a0furniture bank at which you can drop off used furniture and appliances, which will be distributed to people in need in cooperation with social services and municipal district social departments. Services for Foreigners<\/strong>
\r\nThe Integration Centre Prague is launching an updated version of the Praguer app, which makes it easier for foreigners living in Prague to gain access to important information and contacts and helps them better find their bearings in the Czech environment. The app is free to download in the App Store and on Google Play.<\/p>\r\n

All current information and everything going on in Prague for foreigners can be found on the website metropolevsech.eu<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n

The Centre for Integration of Foreigners (CIC) supports foreigners living in Prague who don\u2019t need a\u00a0work permit in job-seeking. They offer a\u00a0free Czech course for beginners and intermediate learners (starting 27 January, 90 min\/week), job clubs, a\u00a0PC course for beginners and individual support in looking for work.
